1. About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains how Vikavi Security LLC, operating as TrustFix ("TrustFix", "we"), uses cookies and similar technologies on trustfix.dev and within the TrustFix application. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device. Similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — work in comparable ways. We refer to all of these collectively as "cookies" in this policy.

2. Our approach: privacy by default

TrustFix is a security product, and we hold ourselves to the standard we ask of our customers. We use the minimum set of cookies needed to operate the Service and to understand, in aggregate, how it is used.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not use cross-site tracking cookies. We do not sell personal data, and we do not share cookie data with advertising networks or data brokers.

3. Categories of cookies we use

We group the cookies we use into two categories: strictly necessary cookies and analytics cookies. We do not use marketing, advertising, or social-media tracking cookies.

• Strictly necessary cookies: required for the Service to function. These support sign-in and session management, keep you authenticated as you move between pages, remember security and consent choices, and protect against cross-site request forgery (CSRF). The Service cannot operate without these, so they cannot be switched off through our interface.
• Analytics cookies: help us understand, in aggregate, how visitors use our marketing site and application — for example, which pages are visited and where users encounter friction — so we can improve the product. Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential analytics cookies, and you can decline without losing access to the Service.

4. Third-party cookies

Some functionality is provided by service providers who may set their own cookies — for example, payment processing during checkout. These cookies are governed by the respective provider’s own cookie and privacy policies. We limit such providers to those necessary to deliver the Service and do not engage advertising networks.

5. How to control cookies

You have several ways to control cookies:

• Consent controls: where we present a cookie or consent notice, you can accept or decline non-essential cookies there, and change your choice later.
• Browser settings: most browsers let you view, block, or delete cookies, and warn you before a cookie is stored. Refer to your browser’s help pages for instructions.
• Effect of blocking: blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from signing in or using core features. Blocking analytics cookies has no effect on functionality.

6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we do not engage in cross-site behavioral advertising, there is little for a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal to opt out of. Where applicable law requires us to honor GPC signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing, we do so; we note that we do not sell or share personal data for cross-context behavioral advertising in any case.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our use of cookies evolves or as the law changes. We will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes affecting non-essential cookies will be accompanied by an updated consent prompt where required.
